In her role as Founder of The MOBO Awards, Kanya has by default become the voice of MOBO, today she is not only called upon to talk about all things MOBO, but is very often asked to comment on everything from fashion and beauty to business and entrepreneurial tips. And as such has appeared in most of the major national newspapers and magazines including Hello, The Sunday Times and The Financial times.

Kanya is also a well-seasoned media personality, regularly sitting on the sofa's on BBC Breakfast News, Sky News, Daybreak, BBC World News CNN amongst others. She is also very comfortable in a radio studio contributing to numerous radio programmes on Radio 1, Radio 4, and Radio 5 Live to name a few.
